Memoirs of a Foxhunting Man

Sunday, February 22 at 2:30 p.m.,

The Old Glebe – Surry County, Virginia

Join the Masters for the next gathering of the Masters’ Book Club, featuring Memoirs of a Foxhunting Man.

The February book club will be held at the historic home of Steve and Janice Perkins, The Old Glebe in Surry County, Virginia (circa 1724).

The address for the Perkins house:  3700 Colonial Trail West, Spring Grove VA.

First published in 1928, Memoirs of a Foxhunting Man has never been out of print and is widely regarded as the most iconic foxhunting book of all time. Written with humor, insight, and deep respect for the sport, it captures the traditions, characters, and spirit of foxhunting in a way few books ever have.

New paperback copies are readily available on Amazon, and vintage editions — always a pleasure to own — can often be found on eBay or other online booksellers. Whether you’ve read it many times or are picking it up for the first time, all are welcome to join the discussion.
